  • Patent number: 9441834
Abstract: A combustion system includes an electrodynamic combustion control system that provided for electrical control of a combustion reaction. Energy is received wirelessly, and electrical energy is generated from the wirelessly received energy. The electrical energy is applied to the combustion reaction in order to control or regulate operation of first and/or second electrodes configured to apply the energy to the combustion reaction.

  • Patent number: 8425382
Abstract: A system and method for developing an individual's physical abilities includes measuring one or more physical ability of an individual and establishing control parameters of a game such that operation of the game at a beginning level is within the individual's measured physical ability. The degree of physical ability shown by the individual over time of game play is monitored, and the control parameters are gradually modified to require a progressively greater physical ability of the individual than required at the beginning level. The system includes an input device, e.g., a joystick, that is operated by the individual to play the game. The system records aspects related to game play, such as frequency and duration of play, specific actions or motions, and changes in physical ability. A therapist is then able to review the record and modify system settings to optimize improvement by the individual.

  • Publication number: 20100243503
Abstract: Improved pet food products containing a combination of real meat, real vegetables, real grain and pasta and container systems regarding same are presented. In an embodiment, the pet food product contains a wet dog food having the appearance of food for human consumption as found in delicatessens. Thus, the pet food product is more appealing to pet owners. The product is contained in unique packaging that provides an attractive appearance and is stackable. The packaging can also be translucent or transparent so that the pet food is visible within one or more portions of the packaging. The container system can be constructed from compounds that will protect the food product from harmful ultraviolet light and make it retortable.

  • Publication number: 20080256980
Abstract: A decorative pendant includes a plurality of segments, each being shaped and sized so as to have a selected composite shape, such as, for example, a heart shape, an animal shape, etc. Each of the segments has an aperture extending therethrough, and a pivot rod traverses the apertures of the each of the segments, such that each of the segments is freely rotatable with respect to the pivot rod. The first and last segments are coupled to the ends of the pivot rod, with the remaining segments captured between. One of the segments includes a loop for engagement with a necklace, and one of the segments includes a legend inscribed on a surface that, when the segments hang freely from the pivot rod, lies face-to-face with a surface of an adjoining one of the segments, so as to be visible only when the one of the segments is rotated away from its free-hanging position, relative to the adjacent segment.
