Abstract: An alarm for signalling the rise of water above a preselected flood indicative danger level. In a preferred embodiment, the alarm is connected across the terminals of the smoke sensing unit of a commercial smoke detecting and signalling device. The alarm includes a pair of elongated conducting wires extending from the smoke sensor terminals to a remote area at which it is desirable to sense a rise in water above the preselected danger level. The ends of the wires at the remote area are fixedly attached to a non-conductive head element so as to provide a separation space between the wires. A rise in the water level to the preselected level serves to bridge the space separating the ends of the wires, closes the circuit and activates the warning signal. In a preferred, alternate embodiment, the wires fixedly attached, in spaced relation, to the wire separating head element, are connected in series with a power supply and a signal.

Abstract: A machine tool, such as a turret punch, having one or more individual tools positioned in a tool holder member attachable to the turret and easily removable therefrom whereby tools are changed by changing turret tool holder members rather than by changing the individual tool.

Abstract: A machine tool work table having a plurality of work piece supporting roller mechanisms is disclosed in which the roller mechanisms are detachably mounted on the table from an undersurface by means of a support strap having outturned flange ended side walls which project through the work table and rest atop surface portions of the work table openings through which the roller members project.

Abstract: A printing plate and saddle are provided for a press roll wherein the printing plate, at each end, has a series of sheer-forms which define slits and indented formations, the slit-edge of the formation being engageable with radial face means on the saddle which are tensioned apart, there being keeper blades or elements overhanging the leading and trailing edges of the plate. Preferably, a blade release member is associated with at least one of the keeper blades to facilitate installation and removal of the plate.
