The support assembly includes: a first support member arranged to be mounted on a surface, such as a floor, to support the tiltable window in the tilted condition; and a first connector attached to the first support member. The first connector includes a frame that is arranged to at least partly envelope a window frame member and is arranged to be releasably attached to the window frame member prior to the tiltable window being tilted out of the plane of the main frame.
