  • Patent number: 9712934
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for testing an individual's hearing and correcting audio signals to compensate for the significant variance in each listener's sensitivity to various frequencies of the audible spectrum. An auditory calibration procedure includes identifying a first volume level as a minimum volume level at which nominal frequency tones are audible, a minimum frequency at which said first volume level is audible, a maximum frequency at which said first volume level is audible, and a minimum volume level at which a number of intervening sample frequencies are audible. A substantially parabolic correction curve is generated based on the minimum volume levels at the various sample frequencies. The correction curve is applied to modify real time audio signals generated upon execution of an audio file functionally linked to the processor, wherein the modified real time audio signals are provided to an audio output device.

  • Publication number: 20170196923
Abstract: The present invention provides a commercial process for preparing the ‘Cannabis-Hemp Paste’ into a food grade nutritional supplement. The process produces both a fully cooked, and raw food product combined, that can be inserted into an edible consumption vessel of any type, or placed into the mouth, and/or stomach, for ingestion purposes. The commercial process entails the combining of various terpenes, flavonoids, decarboxylated cannabinoids (and various raw cannabinoids) that are found in the Cannabis-Hemp Plant; with various fats and thickeners for the purposes of creating a ‘paste’ that can be ingested and metabolized as a food grade dietary supplement, and/or as a direct food product. To accomplish this process, a quantity of the Cannabis-Hemp Plant must be raw and pressed, and a quantity of the Cannabis-Hemp Plant must be heat-cooked and blended with fresh fats; the heat-cooked Cannabis-Hemp plant must then be repeatedly heat-cooked in a steam kettle and pressed to extract different amalgams.

  • Patent number: 8549402
Abstract: A stand-alone desktop application (i.e., client) that resides on an end user's local computer and receives customized music playlists and content via the Internet from a network of distributed servers. The end user may install the application in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, downloading it from the Internet or installing it from a CD that has been pre-loaded with the client. Songs downloaded through the application may be cached locally. The application forms a playlist based on user-entered preferences, an analysis of music already existing on the computer, and previous user interactions with the application. Similar or related songs, albums, bands, or artists can be displayed graphically in a “song cloud” around a graphical representation of the song being played.

  • Patent number: 6575089
Abstract: A method and apparatus for embossing plastic web materials, for instance, low density polyethylene film, have a movable, first embossing element having a plurality of male dies associated with a heat transferable member and a stationary, second embossing element having a plurality of female dies. The temperature of the heat transferable member is controllable so that the male dies can deform a range of deformable plastic materials. The stationary, second embossing element is alignable relative to the first embossing element and unheated so that the female dies are maintained at about ambient temperature during embossing.
