  • Patent number: 4655494
Abstract: A grain scoop molded of a plastic material to provide a socket portion open at its rearward end for the reception of the forward end of an elongated handle therein and a scoop portion integral with the socket portion which extends laterally outwardly and forwardly with respect thereto. The scoop portion is formed by a central corrugation and bottom wall portions on opposite sides thereof each having a coextensive corrugation therein. The scoop portion is defined peripherally by a straight front edge and peripheral edges extending between the front end of the socket portion and the ends of the front edges which are disposed generally in a plane intersecting with the longitudinal extent of the socket portion at an angle of the order of 20.degree. and with the plane of the forward sections of the bottom wall portions at an angle of the order of 161/2.degree.. • Patent number: 4436267
Abstract: A hanger adapted to be fixedly attached to a mounting wall for supporting a length of hose in coiled formation of the type which comprises a one-piece body molded of plastic material so as to provide an upright mounting wall engaging section adapted to be fixedly attached to a mounting wall, a hose coil supporting section extending horizontally from the bottom of the mounting wall engaging section and a hose coil retaining section extending upwardly from the horizontally outwardly extending end of said hose coil supporting section. The hanger embodies improvements which include forming the coil supporting section with (1) spaced thin wall saddle portions defining hose coil engaging surfaces facing generally upwardly and disposed generally in an arcuate plane, and (2) horizontal thin wall channel structures integrally interconnected between the spaced thin wall saddle portions disposed below the adjacent hose coil engaging surfaces thereof and opening generally in a direction toward the same.

  • Patent number: 4199016
Abstract: An axe comprising a blade formed of flat plate stock of generally uniform thickness, and a U-shaped handle attaching strap formed of flat plate stock of generally uniform thickness, the strap is fixedly mounted on a handle end portion with the bight portion and leg portions thereof substantially circumferentially surrounding the handle end portion and free end portions thereof extending therefrom in generally parallel relation beyond a leading edge of the handle end portion. The blade is rigidly mounted with its attaching portion disposed between the free end portions of the attaching strap and a trailing edge thereof facing the leading edge of the handle portion. The cutting edge of the blade is of uniform wedge-shaped cross-sectional configuration throughout its extent, the wedge shape being formed by generally straight bevel surfaces.

  • Patent number: 3965991
Abstract: A manual cultivator tool including a handle, a U-shaped blade, a tubular member provided with spaced flattened end portions having similar intermediately disposed bends therein, and a pair of separate handle attaching elements assembled into a final construction in which the tubular member interengages with the free ends of the legs of the U-shaped blade to form a strong annular structure and the attaching elements provide for both connection with the handle and the annular structure in such a way as to effect a limited tilting movement of the horizontal earth penetrating blade portion of the annular structure.
