    Abstract: A putter head having a back face undercut is disclosed. The undercut is a section cut into the sole, thereby forming an undercut back face perpendicular to the sole and substantially parallel to the strike face. The undercut results in enhanced heel/toe weighting and an elevation of the center of gravity of the putter head. The undercut back face preferably includes a logo or other indicia that is visible when viewing the back face of the putter, but that is not visible when viewing the putter from above.
