    Abstract: A cap having a crown formed of a plurality of crown segments in side-by-side relationship and having a visor attached to the crown brim and extending outwardly therefrom. The visor is laterally centered on and attached to the front of the crown brim. A stiffener is located to the interior of the crown to overlay the front portion of the crown to be supported against collapse and is biased toward the underlaying crown portion.
