  • Patent number: 10533388
Abstract: A flow diverter is provided having a first sub member, a second sub member, a third sub member connected in series and a piston, a spring, and a sleeve member. The sleeve member is removeably disposed within the second sub member. The spring concentrically surrounds at least a portion of the piston and the spring are slidably disposed within the first sub member with the piston further slidably disposed within the second sub member and at least a portion of the third sub member. A drilling fluid having a first predetermined pressure passes through the flow diverter. The drilling fluid having a second predetermined pressure moves the piston until at least a portion of the drilling fluid passes through bypass ports formed in the piston, sleeve member, and second sub member and out of the flow diverter, thus controlling the pressure of the drilling fluid.

  • Patent number: 9587453
Abstract: A hydraulic jar comprising a housing and a mandrel slidably disposed in the housing forming an annular space therebetween. In an embodiment, the hydraulic jar comprises a flow control device fixedly connected to the mandrel and disposed in the annular space to divide the annular space into a first portion and a second portion. The flow control device comprises an annular member slidably positioned about the mandrel, wherein the annular member comprises a face, an inside surface, and an outside surface, wherein the outside surface of the annular member is disposed against an inside surface of the tubular housing, wherein the outer surface of the annular member and the inside surface of the tubular housing allow fluid flow therebetween at a first flow rate, wherein the inside surface of the annular member and the retaining surface of the retaining assembly allow fluid flow therebetween at a second flow rate.

  • Patent number: 7134495
Abstract: A casing liner and method for lining a casing affixed in a well bore. The casing liner having a plurality of grooves and ridges arranged longitudinally and in an alternating relationship about the exterior surface of the casing liner to increase stress storage upon the casing liner being radially reduced in size and thereby decrease the expansion rate of the casing liner and facilitate installation of the casing liner into the casing.
