Abstract: Distribution channeling for stock suspension, the distribution channeling being in connection with a headbox of a paper machine The distribution channeling is fed with a transverse input channel for stock suspension, such as with an inlet pipe, and which distribution channeling feeds stock suspension into an intermediate chamber and onwards from the intermediate chamber to the slice channel of a paper machine. The distribution channeling is formed from a number of modular pieces and is fitted to the headbox after the input channel. One or more distribution channels, such as a hole, for the stock suspension flowing through a modular piece are formed in the modular piece. The modular pieces are placed side by side such that an interspace forms between them, from which interspace diluting water can be fed into the distribution channel.

Abstract: Feeder channel for diluting a fluid, in connection with a headbox of a paper machine includes one or more reservoir-type spaces for receiving diluting fluid. An aperture is formed in the reservoir-type space, wherein the diluting fluid can be conducted into the stock flow space of the headbox. One or more shut-off/adjustment members, for adjusting the flow of diluting fluid, is fitted into the feeder channel. The shut-off/adjustment member is a shut-off/adjustment device that can be moved in the longitudinal direction in the aperture formed in the wall of the reservoir-type space. The shut-off/adjustment member that is partly or wholly inside the aperture with one or more cavities and/or recesses, via which the flow of diluting fluid from the reservoir-type space either directly or via an intermediate piece into the stock flow space can be adjusted by moving the shut-off/adjustment member in the aperture.

The stem part is movable in the housing between at least two positions, a first position in which the flow path between the inlet and the outlet is open, and a second position in which the flow path is closed, and the stem part and/or housing is designed to direct the medium flow at least in the vicinity of the outlet opening.

At least one first flow resistance element, such as an aperture plate and/or tube system, is provided with flow apertures, from which headbox the pulp suspension is passed via at least one chamber, such as an equalizing chamber and/or the slice gap of a slice chamber, onto a forming wire or equivalent. The arrangement comprises at least one pulp flow guide plate, preferably arranged mainly in the transverse direction of the headbox, having at least one groove formed in its guide surface.
