Abstract: A system and method for stadium seating selection provides a computer-implemented interactive website and software application that allows a user to determine which stadium seats are in the shade or sun at a given time during an outdoor event and to view a stadium's seating in relationship to the sun and shade according to the date and time of day. The website or app displays a diagram of the stadium of interest with seat or section numbers and shows the orientation of the sun and a progressively moving shade shadow corresponding to the date and time of day. The shade and sun information may also be provided in text or audio format.
