  • Patent number: 10750685
Abstract: The present disclosure relates systems and methods for providing remote irrigation system operation. In any embodiment, the method for a home automation system may include coupling an irrigation control bypass module with a legacy irrigation control panel associated with a legacy irrigation automation system. The method may also include setting the legacy irrigation control panel to an inactive state, and operating the legacy irrigation automation system based at least in part on a first set of one or more instructions received from the irrigation control bypass module. In any embodiment, the irrigation control bypass module may be initiated based at least in part on a second set of one or more instructions received from the home automation system.

  • Patent number: 10672242
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method to monitor a proximity of an item within the confines of an automation system is described. The method may comprise setting one or more monitoring thresholds for an item. The monitoring threshold factors are communicating by a sensor proximate the item. The method may receive one or more notifications via the sensor that the item has exceeded at least one monitoring threshold and activating a monitoring aspect of the sensors based at least in part on the receiving. The method may monitor the item for one or more alarm thresholds based at least in part on the receiving. One or more alarms may be activated based at least in part on the monitoring.

  • Patent number: 10507167
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for monitoring medication use with a home automation system. An example medication monitoring system includes a medication storage device, a proximity device, and a dispenser module. The medication storage device is configured to hold a plurality of medications. The proximity device is configured to detect an activity of a user relative to the medication storage device. The dispense module is configured to detect a pattern of the activity based on data received from the proximity device, and generate a notice. The notice may be generated if the pattern is broken. The notice may include a summary report on usage of the medication storage device. The notice may include an alarm if the medication storage device is, for example, tampered with or moved.
