  • Patent number: 8049355
Abstract: There is disclosed a hydro-electric generating device comprising a solid plate fixedly supporting two bearings, which bearings rotatably support a shaft, the plate has a cutout fillable with water subjected to wave motions; a turbine fixed on the shaft. The turbine has a plurality of blades disposed in the cutout. The device further comprises a transmission, kinematically connected to the shaft, an electrical generator mounted on the plate and driven by the transmission, and a forklift furnished with wheels. The plate is secured on the forklift, and the forklift provides for a three-dimension adjustment that constitutes relocation of the generating device along the coastal line, displacement of the generating device from and to the current waterline, and vertical displacement of the plate and turbine of the generating device depending upon the current wave height. The device can be supplemented by a mat placeable on the coastal surface.

  • Publication number: 20100060007
Abstract: A heavy duty mat is placed at the edge of the ocean. The plate is welded to the forklift. The turbine is firmly attached to the plate At the end of the forklift. The generator is firmly attached to the plate; Closest to the forklift. The whole unit is moved on to the mat at the edge Of the ocean. Both the generator and turbine have wheels. The belt is Wrapped firmly around both wheels. When the waves hit the turbine, The turbine turns, thereby turning the generator. As a result it produces Electricity. For as long as we have waves, we will have pollution-free, Electricity.
