    Abstract: An apparatus for supplying a flexible component onto a curved apparatus for subsequent treatment is provided, for example for supplying a bandage-like reinforcing insert onto a tire buildup drum. A vacuum hose, to which a vacuum can be supplied, is provided for gripping the flexible component. Lifting cylinders are provided for raising and lowering the vacuum hose. Guides are provided for the adjustment of the lifting cylinders relative to the curved apparatus for subsequent treatment.
