    Abstract: A power demand limiting circuit is disclosed comprising air temperature control apparatus coupled with a municipal source of electric current through a thermo-responsive switch, through a meter having means for measuring maximum power demand for any period in a succession of periods of preselected duration, and through a timer programmed to cycle a timer switch at least once during each of the periods, whereby the air temperature control apparatus is rendered incapable of demanding power continuously throughout any of the metered periods.

    Abstract: A heat recovery system is disclosed for a forced air furnace having a flue through which combusted gases may be exhausted, a series of air ducts connected with the furnace, and a blower for forcing air through the series of air ducts and furnace. The heat recovery system comprises a heat exchanger having one passageway coupled with the flue and another passageway coupled with the series of air ducts across the blower in heat transfer relation with the one passageway.

    Abstract: A system, process and coupling device for variably and selectively directing hot exhaust gases of a clothes drier into a heat recovery system wherein the heat recovered is introduced into the return air duct of a home heating system or into a venting system when heat exchange is not desired. A system for use with electric driers is shown wherein the exhaust air is filtered and then released into the return air duct of the home heating system, or vented. A system primarily for use with gas driers is shown wherein the exhaust gases pass in heat exchange relationship with intake air of a home heating system.
