Abstract: A decongestant preparation is disclosed which comprises a set of active components and a petrolatum base wherein the active components consist essentially of menthol, camphor, eucalyptus oil, and spirits of turpentine, wherein the total concentration of the active components is no greater than about 1.0% by weight of the decongestant preparation, and wherein the set of active components consists essentially of in percent by weight from about 15 to about 25 menthol, from about 30 to about 40 camphor, from about 5 to about 10 eucalyptus oil, and from about 30 to about 40 spirits of turpentine, the decongestant being suitable for direct application to the nasal cavity.

Abstract: A decongestant is disclosed consisting essentially of active components of from about 2 g to about 10 g of vegetable oil, from about 0.1 g to about 5 g of aloe vera, from about 3 mg to about 150 mg of zinc, from about 10 mg to about 1000 mg of vitamin C, from about 2,000 USP Units to about 70,000 USP Units of vitamin A, from about 20 IU to about 500 IU of vitamin E, from about 10 mg to about 300 mg of vitamin B-6, from about 50 mcg to about 2000 mcg of biotin, and from about 0.3 g to about 2 g of fruit pectin, per about 1 liter of the decongestant. The balance is carriers and solvents. The zinc is supplied as one or more therapeutic compounds of zinc.

Abstract: A cosmetic lotion is disclosed consisting essentially of active components of from about 1 g to about 30 g of aloe vera, from about 30 mg to about 900 mg of zinc, about 100 mg to about 6000 mg of vitamin C, from about 25,000 USP Units to about 500,000 USP Units of vitamin A, from about 200 IU to about 4000 IU of vitamin E, from about 100 mg to about 2000 mg of vitamin B-6, from about 600 mcg to about 12,000 mcg of biotin, and from about 3 g to about 15 g of fruit pectin, per about 3 ounces of lotion. The balance is carriers and solvents. The zinc is supplied as one or more therapeutic compounds of zinc.
