  • Publication number: 20190288724
Abstract: A case containing DNA material protect the user from non-ionizing radiation emitted from a mobile phone, while protecting the phone from physical damage. The DNA material absorbs the radiation emitting from the transmitter of the mobile phone. Layers of DNA material along with non-organic layers are advantageously combine to increase the absorption. The DNA material may be used form the case or be provided and an insert to a prior art case.

  • Publication number: 20070044755
Abstract: A reciprocating piston engine wherein the movement of a piston within the combustion chamber creates vortices in the fluid within the chamber and wherein the orientation of the vortices is more normal to the axis of movement of the piston than parallel to the axis of movement of the piston. The vortices may be created by a device for attachment to the crown of a piston or by the configuration of the crown of the piston. The vortices may be created by a plurality of vanes extending outwardly from the center of the piston to the periphery thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060279107
Abstract: A system and method for deflecting the wind which would otherwise impinge upon the closed tailgate of a pickup truck, the deflector being mounted on the tailgate to preserve cargo space, including a spoiler and including a pair of relatively slidable rigid panels for deflecting the wind. The lower, forward panel overlies the upper rear panel and the relative position of the two panels is controlled by a scissors jack. The position of the distal end of the lower, forward panel is maintained adjacent the truck bed by a gust strap.
