  • Patent number: 9901694
Abstract: There is provided a neck patch to be adhered on a tracheostoma, which is very light and has a good respiratory activity and an excellent sealing behavior when adhered on top of a tracheostoma in the neck of a patient. The neck patch is made of a thin, planar, flexible foil having a thickness of between 5 and 30 ?m, which is adhesive on its proximal side only and has a centrically arranged hole on its distal side, and around which a hard, round plastic connector disk having a central recess is arranged, the neck patch further comprising a supporting frame that surrounds the outer edge of the film and is approximately five to ten times thicker than the film so that the neck patch can be positioned without being rolled together.

  • Patent number: 5899877
Abstract: A one-piece dispensing device for the contamination-free administration of medicaments (cytostatica) is particularly suitable for use in ambulant treatment. The invention provides a connector for connecting medicament (cytostatica) containers to instruments by which the medicaments are administered. The connector is designed to prevent, without a complex apparatus, contamination of the surroundings during connection of the container and until its disposal. The dispensing device has at least one coupling member to create a non-releasable connection with a medicaments container. The coupling member has an insertion pin and barbed surfaces to accommodate the medicaments container. The coupling member is non-releasably connected via a tube to a flexible container which is to be filled with gas. The flexible container is non-releasably connected to a further tube outlet and a mechanically actuated stop valve is incorporated in each of the connecting tubes.
