  • Patent number: 4940156
Abstract: An injection molded, thermoplastic tray for storage and shipment of leadframes comprises a receptacle in the form of a rectangular base, and a plurality of dividers engageable with the base. The receptacle has first and second hinged side walls with outwardly extending flanges. The dividers have a first engaging member which engages with the first side wall to hold the same in an upward position and a second engaging member which is engageable with the second side wall when the second side wall is pivoted to an upward position to hold the same in the upward position. Notches are provided in the bore of the receptacle which are engaged with downwardly and outwardly hooks on the bottom of the divider. Stacking members in the form of upwardly extending saddles and outwardly extending pegs provide for stacking of one tray atop another.

  • Patent number: 4724979
Abstract: A tamper-evident, reclosable, integral rigid plastic lid for use on a container having an upper circular wall provides a double seal for the container contents until opened by a user and a single seal thereafter. The lid has a circular base, with a recess therein and a rupturable planar member extending across the recess, and a hinged closure member secured to a platform which completely covers the recess. The platform is in the shape of a segment of the circle formed by the circular base with a downwardly extending face provided along a chord of the circle which, with an arcuate raised rim about the circular base forms the bounds of the recess.

  • Patent number: 4724977
Abstract: An integrally molded, generally rectangular, tamper-evident, reclosable lid for a container is formed from a rigid thermoplastic and has a peripheral wall section that defines a recess, with a rupturable planar member extending across the recess, and has an integral closure member hingedly connected to the peripheral wall section. The planar member and closure member provide a double seal prior to opening by a user, and after removal of the rupturable portion of the planar member, the integral hinged closure member provides a seal for the contents of the container. The lid is formed from a rigid plastic having a tensile modulus and flexural modulus in excess of 100.times.10.sup.3 p.s.i. and a melting point in excess of 140.degree. C. to provide a lid resistant to removal from a container as well as other properties desired.

  • Patent number: 4724978
Abstract: A unitary plastic container and integrally molded, tamper-evident, reclosable lid, which lid has a recessed planar member, with a rupturable portion, and an integral closure member hingedly secured thereto. The planar member and closure member provide an initial double seal for the contents of the container while the closure member provides a single seal for the contents after removal of the planar member. The container and integral lid are preferably formed from a rigid plastic material such as polypropylene.
