Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a housing element for a drug delivery device. The housing element comprises longitudinal axis and defines an interior space for receiving components of a drive mechanism of the drug delivery device and at least a portion of a cartridge of the drug delivery device. The housing element comprises an engagement feature for axially constraining the housing element to a cartridge holder of the drug delivery device. In order to constrain the cartridge in the housing element, it further comprises at least one crush web protruding radially inwards into the interior space. The at least one crush web is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing element by at least 3° such that when the cartridge is introduced into the interior space the at least one crush web folds radially outwards.

Abstract: A needle hub for a drug delivery device includes a needle holder and a needle attached to the needle holder, a needle actuation assembly configured to move the needle holder from a retracted position, to an insertion position, and back to the retracted position, and a pressure interlock comprising an inlet configured to be in fluid communication with a fluid source, an outlet in fluid communication with the needle, and a lock member. The lock member having a first position where the lock member prevents actuation of the needle actuation assembly and a second position where the lock member allows actuation of the needle actuation assembly. The lock member is moved from the first position to the second position based on a pressure within the pressure interlock.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a drug delivery device comprising a housing (5, 10) with an opening (12), a piston rod (11) having a proximal end and a distal end, at least a portion with an interface (14) adapted to engage the opening (12) for guiding the piston rod (11) during a distal or proximal movement of the piston rod (11) relative to the housing (5, 10) and at least one first attachment element (15) located at the distal end, and a bearing (16) with at least one second attachment element (17, 18) for rotatable attachment of the bearing (16) at the distal end of the piston rod (11). The at least one first attachment element (15) and/or the at least one second attachment element (17, 18) is elastically deformable in a radial direction for snap engagement of the piston rod (11) and the bearing (5, 10).
