Abstract: The invention refers to an aid for pulling on and/or off stockings comprising a stocking retainer. The stocking, in particular a compression stocking, is at least temporarily during the process of putting on or off the stocking at least partially stretched over the stocking retainer. The aid for pulling on and/or off stockings comprises a pivot-mounted clamping element rotatable about a rotational axis. The clamping element comprises a clamping region for fastening the stocking put over the stocking retainer in respect to a counter pressure region of the aid for pulling on and/or off stockings. The aid for pulling on and/or off stockings comprises longitudinal rods to which the stocking retainer is attached. The clamping element is rotatable in respect to the rotational axis.
