Abstract: A tubular sleeve suitable for connecting a disposable hypodermic syringe to a medicinal vial without exposing the tip of the needle until the syringe is filled and ready for injection. A process of inserting the syringe with a cap covering the needle into the first end of the sleeve, removing the needle cap, inserting the vial cap into the second end of the sleeve which allows the needle to penetrate the stopper in the vial and withdrawing medicament into the syringe.

Abstract: The combination of a syringe and needle cover that not only provides protection for the needle prior to use of the syringe but also facilitates the mating the syringe to a vial without exposing the needle to the user until the syringe is filled and ready for injection. Advantages include greater economy, convenience, simplicity and safety than prior art devices.

Abstract: A unitary one-piece needle-guide and bottle-holder device in which one portion of the device is adapted to securely yet removably receive a portion of a bottle or vial such that a central area of the needle-penetratable cap on the bottle is exposed to a needle-guide channel which in turn communicates with a needle guide for guiding a syringe to an abutment therein which allows constant or same-depth penetration of the needle into a vial every time the guide device is used and without risk or harm to the user.

Abstract: An invalid walker comprising right and left side frame members in the form of an inverted Y-shape, each frame member containing a vertical leg, a side leg attached downwardly and rearwardly from the vertical leg and a horizontal brace connecting the vertical leg and side leg, a front horizontal member connecting the right and left side frame members, and handgrip support attached to the upper end of each vertical leg. Stair climbing convenience is provided by a forward extension of the horizontal brace and a restraint strap between the handgrip supports provides an optional safety feature.
