  • Patent number: 9476270
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for shearing well drilling fluid mixtures containing an emulsifier, and utilizing pumping the fluids through a plurality of nozzles, reducing the size of the fluid droplets as they pass through the nozzles, discharging the fluid droplets into a output chamber where the emulsifier surrounds the smaller droplets with the nozzle discharges aligned to intersect in the stabilization chamber.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 25, 2016
    Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.
Inventors: Randolph Paul Istre, Kazi M. Rashid, Timothy N. Harvey, Harry Todd Lynch, Michael Alan Moore
  • Patent number: 9417894
Abstract: A portable housing includes a sensing device, a set of memory modules, and a reconfigurable circuit module. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to receive sensed data associated with a sensing device. In response to receiving the sensed data, the reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to transition from a first configuration to a second configuration. While in the second configuration, the reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to retrieve data from at least one memory module from the set of memory modules. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to compare the retrieved data to the sensed data, and as a result, produce matched data. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to define and/or send a search result based on the matched data.

  • Patent number: 8706796
Abstract: A system has a set of servers utilizing different operating systems to constitute a cross-platform system. A central management server has a set of objects characterizing the set of servers. The set of objects have relationship edges to related objects. A server intelligence agent coordinates the start-up of the central management server and the set of servers and coordinates the control of state changes within the set of servers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 2007
Date of Patent: April 22, 2014
    Assignee: SAP France S.A.

  • Patent number: 6527156
Abstract: A fastener driving apparatus (1) having a carriage (10) supporting a fastener driver (18) and adapted for translation across a flooring member (42) being fastened by fasteners from the fastener driver (18). The fastener driver (18) is preferably supported in the carriage (10) at an angle with respect to a fully vertical position in order to drive fasteners at an angle with respect to the flooring member (42) and more preferably into the side of the flooring member (42) and into the underlying structure. More preferably, the angle of the fastener driver (18) is adjustable. Carriage motion elements (36) permit translation of the fastener driving apparatus (1) across the flooring (44) with a support wheel (50) preferably arranged so as to exert a lateral force upon the apparatus (1) when the apparatus (1) is pushed.

  • Patent number: 4718238
Abstract: A combustion chamber is defined by a wall having a closed end into which liquid fuel and oxidant are introduced and an open end through which exhaust gases flow. A baffle at the open end causes exhaust gas to flow adjacent the wall. Injector devices direct liquid fuel radially inwardly of the chamber between the closed and open ends. Unburnt fuel attached to the wall cools the walls and passes to the open end before being entrained by the exhaust gas flow through the baffle.
