    Abstract: An improved Internet access system using a client server arrangement is provided with the basic input from a user coming from a small television top unit containing a limited amount of electronics. This network access device connects to Internet access servers which operate to connect a plurality of network access devices to the Internet. The Internet access server formats and decodes requests for services from the individual network access devices and images and messages from the Internet to the individual network access devices using a server model.
