  • Publication number: 20210401091
Abstract: A medical gown constructed by heat sealing a tube made by a blown film process. The medical gown having a front panel and a rear panel, a vertical perforation running along the rear panel centerline, two sleeves for covering the arms of a wearer, a sleeve perforation for enabling the wearer to penetrate a portion of their hand therethrough. Each sleeve of the medical gown having an upper seal portion and a lower seal portion, a neck opening between the upper seal portions of the two sleeves, a gap between the lower sealed portions of the two sleeves for accommodating the body of the wearer. An underarm perforation below each sleeve facilitates severing of each of the sleeves from the gown material. Supplemental perforations on either side of the gown are also provided for yielding a pair of straps that can be tied at the rear of the gown.

  • Publication number: 20060045393
Abstract: Plastic shopping bags having upper and lower seams, at least one side gusset, an open bag mouth and upper bag handles has attached promotional ad strips. The strips include a central removable portion and a pair of remainder portions at either end of the strip that are sealed into the upper and lower seams. The ad strips are registered to the upper and lower bag seams so that whole numbers of the coupons, messages or promotions will fall within the removable portion of the strip. Perforations join the removable portion of the strip to the remainder portions. An apparatus for registering the ad strips to plastic shopping bags includes markers on the bags and on the ad strips, sensors to detect the markers, a controller to match the speed of the ad strips to that of the bag blanks, a sealer, bag cutter and either a stacker or a winder.

  • Publication number: 20060021956
Abstract: A dispensing apparatus for header-style bags having a housing comprising a rear portion and a front cover connected to the rear portion, and a bag mount attached to the rear portion proximate the top edge thereof, the bag mount structured and arranged to engage the aperture in the packet of bags so as to hang the packet from the bag mount. The front cover is pivotally attached to the rear portion so as to be movable between a lowered, open position providing access to an interior of the housing so that a lower portion of a packet of bags hanging from the bag mount can be received in the interior of the housing, and a raised, closed position in which the housing substantially encloses the lower portion of the packet of bags while the mouth portion of the packet of bags projects above the housing to allow a bag to be grasped at an upper end thereof and removed from the packet.

  • Patent number: 6286681
Abstract: A ventilated plastic bag particularly adapted for carrying hot food from fast food restaurants includes the following components. Front and rear wall sections are connected together to define a closed bottom area and an open top area. A handle or handles are provided in the top area and include a cut out of the front and rear wall sections creating reduced strength regions with resulting high potential for carrying around at least part of the cut out. Closely spaced micro-perforations extend through the wall sections in at least a major portion of the plastic bag other than the reduced strength regions to provide ventilation to an interior food carrying area of the plastic bag while not further weakening the reduced strength regions and increasing the potential for tearing of the bag.
