  • Publication number: 20100084999
Abstract: A battery powered system using a battery operated hydraulic pump to spin a weighted flywheel which is connected to a generator that generates electricity used to power all of the energy requirements for a vehicle. This system will use dual strings of batteries where one string of batteries can be recharging while the other string is supplying the power to the hydraulic pump.

  • Publication number: 20080079218
Abstract: A wagering game is disclosed utilizing both cards and dice. The instant invention is a fast-paced game wherein a player rolls dice with colors corresponding to the colors of suits in a deck of cards. After the initial roll, the dealer draws a card which, combined with the die of a color corresponding to the color of suit of the card drawn, forms the dealer's hand. The player's hand comprises the remaining dice. The values of the dealer's hand and player's hand are compared in reference to a target number; the closest to the target number wins the hand.

  • Patent number: 4965940
Abstract: A saw mill guide rail capable of being quickly, easily and accurately aligned to the saw blade, having two intersecting surfaces machined into the head of the rail, each parallel to the rail head length and extending for the length of the rail, one being vertical and the other being horizontal, to thereby form a line of intersection, such that a straight-edge can be positioned against one or both said planar surfaces at the line of intersection to align the rail in a straight line in either or both the vertical and horizontal plane.

  • Patent number: 4603613
Abstract: A band saw for an industrial band mill is hollow formed, preferably on both sides thereof, and substantially from edge to edge thereof. This hollow forming eliminates the need for prestressing the band saw by roll tensioning during its manufacture. When the wheels are strained up, the band saw becomes substantially flat on the wheels. Additionally, the band saw may be made thinner to reduce material costs and to result in a thinner saw cut, thereby reducing sawdust waste. Less friction between the band saw and the timber being cut reduces heat build-up, thereby improving the useful life and reliability of the band saw, and facilitating faster cutting rates for improved production efficiency. Preferably, the cutting teeth are swaged set. The band saw may be single edged or double edged and may be mounted in a band mill having either flat or crowned wheels.
