Abstract: An information processing system includes a first device, a second device, and a management device that is capable of communicating with each of the first device and the second device. The first device converts a generated authentication code into an acoustic signal and outputs the acoustic signal from a speaker and sends the authentication code to the management device. The second device extracts an authentication code from the acoustic signal acquired by a microphone and sends the authentication code to the management device. The management device collates the authentication code received from the first device and the authentication code received from the second device and, if the authentication codes are identical with each other, establishes communication between the first device and the second device.
