    Abstract: A medical tool for use with an endoscopic capsule includes: a jaw assembly configured to maintain the endoscopic capsule at a certain position or within a range of positions relative to the jaw assembly while the endoscopic capsule is inside a bodily lumen, the jaw assembly having a first jaw and a second jaw, the first jaw having a first portion and a second portion that is opposite from the first portion; and a control configured to move at least one of the first jaw and the second jaw from a first configuration in which the first and the second jaws are spaced at a first distance, to a second configuration in which the first and the second jaws are spaced at a second distance that is less than the first distance.
