  • Publication number: 20240097966
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for evaluating incidents within a network. The method receives notification of a first incident related to a first network entity and a second incident related to a second network entity. In response to the respective notifications of the first and second incidents, the method uses network monitoring data to generate a first component graph of a first portion of the network that includes the first network entity and a second component graph of a second portion of the network that includes the second network entity. The first and second component graphs respectively include first and second sets of network entities related to the first and second network entities according to the network monitoring data. The method uses the first and second component graphs to respectively identify root causes of the first and second incidents.

  • Publication number: 20240089691
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure describe systems and methods for presenting an audio signal to a user of a wearable head device. In an example, a received first input audio signal is processed to generate a left output audio signal and a right output audio signal presented to ears of the user. Processing the first input audio signal comprises applying a delay process to the first input audio signal to generate a left audio signal and a right audio signal; adjusting gains of the left audio signal and the right audio signal; applying head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) to the left and right audio signals to generate the left and right output audio signals. Applying the delay process to the first input audio signal comprises applying an interaural time delay (ITD) to the first input audio signal, the ITD determined based on the source location.

  • Patent number: 11927717
Abstract: A method for history matching a reservoir model based on actual production data from the reservoir over time generates an ensemble of reservoir models using geological data representing petrophysical properties of a subterranean reservoir. Production data corresponding to a particular time instance is acquired from the subterranean reservoir. Normal score transformation is performed on the ensemble and on the acquired production data to transform respective original distributions into normal distributions. The generated ensemble is updated based on the transformed acquired production data using an ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF). The updated generated ensemble and the transformed acquired production data are transformed back to respective original distributions. Future reservoir behavior is predicted based on the updated ensemble.

  • Patent number: 11930300
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for replacing image data from a virtual machine with local image data, such as for a video application. In some aspects, a method for replacing image data in a video application may include obtaining first image data from a camera connected to the user device and transmitting the first image data to a virtual machine that executes the video application. The user device may receive a video application image from the virtual machine that includes an indication that identifies the first image data. The user device may identify the first image data in the video application image based on the indication and replace it with second image data obtained from the camera device to produce a modified video application image. The client device may render the modified video application image in a virtual computing environment displayed on the user device.

  • Patent number: 11930123
Abstract: Digital certificates are generated for devices by a Certificate Authority (CA), which communicates with devices via another entity—registration authority (RA)—so that the CA and RA cannot associate certificates with devices. Each certificate is associated with a public signature key, and with a public encryption key used by CA to encrypt the certificate to hide it from the RA. Both keys are derived by CA from a single key. For example, the signature key can be derived from the public encryption key rather than generated independently. However, high security is obtained even when the CA does not sign the encrypted certificate. Reduced bandwidth and computational costs are obtained as a result. Other embodiments are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240080004
Abstract: Described are circuits and techniques to increase the efficiency of radio-frequency (rf) amplifiers including rf power amplifiers (PAs) through “supply modulation” (also referred to as “drain modulation” or “collector modulation”), in which supply voltages provided to rf amplifiers is adjusted dynamically (“modulated”) over time depending upon the rf signal being synthesized. For the largest efficiency improvements, a supply voltage can be adjusted among discrete voltage levels or continuously on a short time scale. The supply voltages (or voltage levels) provided to an rf amplifier may also be adapted to accommodate longer-term changes in desired rf envelope such as associated with adapting transmitter output strength to minimize errors in data transfer, for rf “traffic” variations.

  • Patent number: 11924691
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for improving call performance in a wireless network. The method includes sending an invite request to a server to initiate a Voice over New Radio (VoNR) service, where the UE is connected with a first network entity, and where the invite request comprises a media feature tag. The method includes initiating an Evolved Packet System fallback (EPS FB) service timer based on the media feature tag and a quality of service (QoS) timer and establishing a call over a second network entity using a dedicated bearer when the EPS FB command is received from the server. The call is established over the second network entity using the dedicated bearer by sending a service request to the server and/or sending an update request to the server when the EPS FB timer is expired and the EPS FB command is not received from the server.

  • Patent number: 11921799
Abstract: Operational machine components of an information technology (IT) or other microprocessor- or microcontroller-permeated environment generate disparate forms of machine data. Network connections are established between these components and processors of an automatic data intake and query system (DIQS). The DIQS conducts network transactions on a periodic and/or continuous basis with the machine components to receive the disparate data and ingest certain of the data as measurement entries of a DIQS metrics datastore that is searchable for DIQS query processing. The DIQS may receive search queries to process against the received and ingested data via an exposed network interface. In one example embodiment, a query building component conducts a user interface using a network attached client device. The query building component may elicit search criteria via the user interface using a natural language interface, construct a proper query therefrom, and present new information based on results returned from the DIQS.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to managing data transmission from a plurality of telemetry devices onboard one or more trains. The plurality of telemetry devices comprises a first telemetry device and one or more second telemetry devices in a vicinity of the first telemetry device at an instant of time. The first telemetry device is configured to detect presence of the one or more second telemetry devices, and to initiate a negotiation process for identifying a designated telemetry device from the one or more second telemetry devices. During the negotiation process, status data associated with the telemetry devices are aggregated. The aggregated status data is further processed to identify a designated telemetry device from among the telemetry devices. The designated telemetry device performs actions for managing data transmission from the telemetry devices based on the aggregated status data.
