In an embodiment, performance data is collected from an application during display by the application of a first display window. Performance data is also collected from the application during display by the application of a second display window. On a display device, an image of the first display window is displayed that includes a first displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application. On the display device, an image of the second display window is simultaneously displayed with the image of the first display window. The simultaneously displayed image of the second display window includes a second displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application.
