  • Patent number: 11718407
Abstract: A support arrangement for an inflatable evacuation system may comprise an inflatable member configured to be elongated and stiffened in a longitudinal direction in response to being in an inflated condition, a protrusion extending orthogonal to a surface of the inflatable member, a tensile member attached at at least two locations to the inflatable member on opposing sides of the protrusion and being slidably engagable over the protrusion so as to maintain about equal tension in the tensile member on opposing sides of the protrusion, and a sleeve attached to the protrusion configured to maintain the tensile member laterally relative to the protrusion even as the tensile member is able to slide longitudinally.

  • Patent number: 11719370
Abstract: Method and apparatus for an improved camlock fitting having outer/inner cam lever which are restrained against unintended opening or rotation by a pivoting locking member which is pivotally mounted onto an axle disposed in a corresponding hole on the cam levers so that the pivoting locking member can be easily pivoted in the vertical plane relative to the cam arms. Each of the outer and inner arms has a pivoting locking member mounted on its underside in a protective housing. The camlock fitting may also have an air vent. Together this provides a safety lock assembly for the cam lock fitting so that when the cam lock fitting is pressurized unbeknownst to the operator and the operator attempts to open the cam lock fitting, the safety lock assembly will prevent operation or complete separation of the male and the female portions of the fitting to prevent inadvertent pressurized discharge of hazardous materials.

  • Patent number: 11713571
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method is provided to connect precast concrete panels to a structural member. The connector can have a receiving member embedded in a precast concrete panel and can further have an attachment member that selectively interconnects to the receiving member. This attachment member can have a surface that is oriented substantially perpendicular to the precast concrete panel and that receives or supports a structural member such as a floor joist or a second precast concrete panel. The configuration of a protrusion of the attachment member allows for a rapid and secure interconnection with an aperture in the receiving member. A builder can use the connector system described herein to rapidly and securely assemble multiple precast concrete panels to structural members in the construction of, for example, a parking garage or other similar structure.

  • Publication number: 20230227006
Abstract: A surface wiper device which includes a carrier which supports a blade. The carrier attaches to a wiper arm which urges the blade against and moves the blade across the surface of a windshield. The carrier further provides a plurality of outlets each of which communicate between a hollow passage inside the carrier and a location on the external surface of the carrier. A fluid can be delivered from a fluid source fluidicly coupled to the hollow passage of the carrier under sufficient pressure to be dispersed from the plurality of outlets onto the windshield during movement of the blade. A fluid heater can be thermally coupled with the fluid delivered from the fluid source to the plurality of outlets to increase the temperature of the fluid dispersed onto the windshield. The fluid can be sufficiently heated to generate a heated gas.

  • Publication number: 20230231477
Abstract: The present application provides a controller for a switching power supply such as a DC-DC converter which provides an output voltage and an output current. The controller is configured to provide at least one control signal to operate the switching power supply to maintain the output voltage at a first reference voltage. The controller employs a load line compensator responsive to output current for adjusting the reference voltage employed by the compensator. The load line compensator employs one or either or both of a high pass filter or saturating element to provide a filtered/saturated value which is the value employed in adjusting the reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 11706638
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer-readable recording medium perform client optimized onboarding in a wireless network. A network controller of a gateway device determines a first received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a new client device, receives a second RSSI of the new client device from each of one or more wireless extenders, and determines a strongest RSSI among the determined first RSSI and the received second RSSI from each of the one or more wireless extenders. The network controller of the gateway device receives an onboarding request with respect to any one or the gateway device and the one or more wireless extenders, and sends a command to proceed with an onboarding operation of the new client device to any one of the gateway device and the one or more wireless extenders having the strongest RSSI from the new client device.
