  • Patent number: 4249579
Abstract: A resilient drive-transmitting intermediate element is provided between the retaining element and the shaft is rotatably mounted in a bore in the shaft and has an adjusting eccentric member which is engaged in an aperture in the retaining element. The resilient intermediate element comprises an inner member of substantially the same diameter as the bore and an outer eccentric ring shaped member so mounted on the inner member to rotate therewith. The outer eccentric ring shaped member can be introduced together with the retaining element into the shaft and the inner member can be introduced through and retained in the bore. Rotation of the complete intermediate element adjusts the retaining element relative to the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4237941
Abstract: A loom having a deflection beam at the side of the warp for the warp ends and a deflection beam at the side of the cloth for the woven cloth, the deflection beams essentially delimiting the weaving plane containing the shed forming mechanism and the reed. A cover arrangement extends only above the weaving plane essentially from the deflection beam at the side of the warp up to the deflection beam at the side of the woven cloth.

  • Patent number: 4202380
Abstract: Each drop plate has an aperture through which a search bar can pass in order to establish an electrical circuit should a warp yarn break. The plates may be of laminated construction with one or more metal layers and one or more layers of a vibration-damping material such as a plastics. The plates may also be made of a plastics coated metal layer. The plastics layer(s) serve to damp vibrations in the plates and thus reduce noise in the operation of the weaving machines.

  • Patent number: 4144910
Abstract: The flat hollow section member is provided with one or more apertures in at least one of two oppositely disposed walls as well as with an insert of vibration-damping material. The insert is of a thickness to abut each wall and is of greater dimension than the aperture. Also, the insert may be of solid, annular or hollowed shape and may be shouldered to project through the aperture, for example to form a guide surface for the section member. The section member can be used as part of a weaving shaft or as a rod-like or bar-like element in a drive shaft of a weaving machine.

  • Patent number: 4112980
Abstract: A loom harness comprising a harness frame composed of longitudinal and transverse beams and at least one holder element mounted at one of the beams for mounting a further member, for instance a transverse strut or heddle rail. Between the holder element and the beam carrying the same there is interposed at least one elastic intermediate element through which there is transmitted the force flux between the holder element and the beam.

  • Patent number: 4074725
Abstract: A cover is located over the noisiest part of the weaving machine, i.e. the shafts of the shedding mechanism and the reed and extends, at most, to the breast beam at the cloth and of the weaving machine. The cover is made of hinged members or of a flexible sheet so as to be folded out of the way when access to the shafts or reed is required.
