    Abstract: A manually operated press includes a cam disc that is pivotably mounted about an axis, an actuation member that acts upon the cam disc for producing a pivoting movement, a press slide and a press stand that accommodates the press slide allowing it to perform a stroke movement. The pivoting movement triggered by the actuation member is converted by the cam disc into a stroke movement of the primary piston and is transferred to the press slide via the hydraulic line and the secondary piston.

    Abstract: A manually operated press comprises an actuation lever coupled to a shaft assembly. An actuation of the actuation lever is transformed into a stroke movement of a press ram. A clutch assembly is provided for interrupting a flow of force between the actuation lever and the press ram. The clutch is adapted to separate an input shaft from an output shaft depending on predetermined pressing parameters. The input shaft extends as an inner shaft through the output shaft. The clutch assembly has a first clutch designed as a stroke stop for immobilizing the input shaft with a press housing depending on the pressing parameter, and a second clutch designed as an overload clutch for interrupting a flow of force between the input shaft and the output shaft.
