Patent number: 11919417Abstract: A load management system for managing loads in a power distribution grid. The load management system includes a control unit and at least two current transformers, which are each connected to the control unit by a signal cable. A first current transformer of the at least two current transformers is arranged in the power distribution grid such that the first current transformer is suitable for measuring a current level that is dominant in a grid connecting line of the power distribution grid, which grid connecting line is connected to a power supply company. A second current transformer of the at least two current transformers is arranged in the power distribution grid such that the second current transformer is suitable for measuring the current level that is dominant in a power line of the power distribution grid, which power line feeds at least one charging station of the power distribution grid.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2020Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AktiengesellschaftInventors: Raoul Heyne, Alexander Schneider-Schaper, Martin Rezac, Barry Sole, Hartmut Chodura, Ulf Schlieben, Sunny Rohilla

Patent number: 8887844Abstract: A vehicle having an electric drive device and an energy storage device which is arranged in a housing is disclosed. The energy storage device is formed from a plurality of cells. The housing includes a plurality of partitioning devices, with the result that at least one partitioning device is positioned between two cells. The housing of the energy storage device is connected both to a cooling air intake duct, having an inlet opening, and to a cooling air outflow duct, having an outlet opening. At least one partitioning device is configured in such a way that a plurality of cooling ducts are formed between the cells, and cooling air can flow through the cooling ducts in order to cool the energy storage device.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2011Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AktiengesellschaftInventors: Guan Chew, Miroslaw Oslislok, Hartmut Chodura, Patrik Gisch, Steffen Maurer, Ralf Bauer

Patent number: 8800699Abstract: A drive arrangement for an electric vehicle has an axle drive device of a portal design with two electric machines for driving the wheels of an axle of the electric vehicle, and at least one electric energy store that can be discharged when an electric machine is operated as a motor and/or can be charged when an electric machine is operated as a generator. The drive arranged is characterized in that the two electric machines (11) of the axle drive device (10) are combined with a respectively assigned transmission (12) in an electric axle to drive the individually suspended wheels (2) of the axle by means of, in each case, one articulated shaft flange (13) via a respective articulated shaft. Frequency converters assigned respectively to the two electric machines are combined in a converter unit.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2011Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Publication number: 20080114508Abstract: A method is provided for repairing vehicle electronics containing a plurality of control units on which software and a configuration code describing the configuration of the vehicle electronics in terms of hardware and software is stored. Before a defective control unit is replaced, it is checked whether the configuration of the vehicle electronics changes due to the replacement unit. If the configuration of the vehicle electronics does not change, the defective control unit is replaced. After the defective control unit has been replaced, it is checked whether the new control unit has to be programmed. If the new control unit does not have to be programmed, the actual state is read out from all the control units and it is checked whether the actual state corresponds to the configuration code of the vehicle electronics. If the actual state corresponds to the configuration code, the repair is ended.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2007Publication date: May 15, 2008Applicant: DR. ING. H.C. F.
