    Abstract: A tower or cupola-like covering for the protection of radio or television antennae against the weather is made in the form of a sectional casing with each section of the casing being attached only along its bottom or top edge to a supporting structure, with expansion joints between such edges that transmit no supporting forces. The construction eliminates compression or tension forces in the covering which might damage the same.
