  • Publication number: 20050028969
Abstract: In a method of making available temperature controlled air for a first region and a second region in a vehicle, a cold air flow and a hot air flow are generated. At least one first cold air part flow and one first hot air part flow respectively are formed from the cold air flow and from the hot air flow and the first cold air part flow and the first hot air part flow are mixed to form a first temperature controlled part flow for the first region. Furthermore at least one second cold air part flow and one second hot air part flow respectively are formed from the cold air flow and the hot air flow and the second cold air part flow and the second hot air part flow are transported separately by means of an auxiliary blower and are mixed downstream of the auxiliary blower to form a second temperature controlled part flow for the second region.

  • Patent number: 4558618
Abstract: An adjustable fence for a saw table, or the like, comprises a main fence member defining a longitudinal direction and having a first clamping portion at one end. An auxiliary fence member is pivoted to the main fence member about an axis at right angles to that longitudinal direction and extends from the other end of the main fence member. The auxiliary fence member has a second clamping portion spaced longitudinally from the first clamping portion. A screw engages between the main and auxiliary fence members and is actuatable by one hand of an operator to adjustably pivot the auxiliary fence member relative to the main fence member to clamp the first and second clamping portions against opposite sides of the table. An extension fence may be slidably mounted over the main fence member and be adjustably secured in position by the same screw.

  • Patent number: 4527453
Abstract: A miter saw having a saw table which carries the saw unit and is rotatably mounted in a base plate is provided with means for locking the saw table. Such locking means comprise at least one through bore in the fence extending over the upper surface of the saw table and a bolt having a circular cross-section and being rotatably fitted in the through bore. Both the through bore and the bolt comprise an annular shoulder continuously increasing its distance from the saw table. The annular shoulders are in engagement and by rotating the bolt its end surface can be pressed onto the saw table.
