  • Patent number: 10318814
Abstract: A method for analyzing media assets such as video and audio files. The method includes providing access to all the frames of a digital media asset. The method includes, with a microprocessor, running a raw analyzer modules to analyze the asset frames to produce sets of raw analyzer result data that are stored in a data cache in a file associated with the asset. The sets of raw analyzer results are linked to the raw analyzer modules with unique identifiers. The digital media asset is played for the raw analyzer modules, which concurrently analyze the temporally-related frames. The raw analyzer results are stored as data tracks that include metadata for the asset such as immutable parameters including histograms. The method includes using a feature algorithm module to generate an analysis result, such as face identification, for the digital media asset based on the raw analyzer results accessed by the identifiers.

  • Patent number: 10199070
Abstract: A digital medium environment includes an audio processing application that generates a user interface for editing audio data. Sound effects are displayed each with a single adjuster according to an ordered workflow based on a mix type of an audio clip, such as music, dialogue, etc. Adjustment of a single adjuster for a sound effect causes adjustment of multiple parameters of an effects processor underlying the sound effect. Furthermore, effects processors corresponding to selected sound effects are placed in an effects rack in a correct order, rather than in an order in which the sound effects are selected, thus correcting user mistakes. The techniques described herein allow users of varied skill levels to work on a same project, and provide a dynamic interface suitable to the user's skill level that also facilitates comparative testing with an audio effect disabled and subsequently enabled without dropouts in the rendered audio.

  • Publication number: 20150356571
Abstract: In techniques for trending topics tracking, input text data is received as communications from a user or between users, where the communications are from one user to other users, or between two or more of the users. A topics tracking application is implemented to determine topics from the communications that are from or between the users, and track how the topics are trending over a time duration. The topics can include expressed sentiments and/or expressed emotions. An input selection of at least one of the topics can be received, and the topics tracking application generates a visual dashboard that displays a trending representation of the at least one topic that is trending over the time duration. The visual dashboard can also display data sources of the communications between the two or more users and/or an overview of one or more of the topics determined from a selected data source.
