  • Patent number: 4912450
Abstract: A method for producing negative temperature coefficient thermistor units, comprising the steps of forming a pair of green sheets of insulating ceramic material, stacking the green sheets interposing therebetween in predetermined areas a layer of paste for thermistor elements; providing for each thermistor unit a coating of paste to be formed into internal electrodes; cutting the stacked sheets into individual thermistor units; co-firing the thermistor units whereby the thermistor element is enclosed in an envelope of sintered ceramic material or sandwiched between two layers of sintered ceramic material. A pair of external electrodes is then provided on each thermistor unit.

  • Patent number: 4803453
Abstract: A laminated transformer includes a plurality of ferrite sheets having surfaces on which conductor patterns are formed and are laminated and baked to be a sintered body, and a pair of the primary external electrodes and a pair of the secondary external electrodes are provided at end faces of the sintered body. The transformer is used mainly in a high frequency circuit, the conductor patterns formed at the laminated ferrite sheets being used as the primary or the secondary, both ends of the primary conductor patterns being electrically connected to the pair of the primary external electrodes and both ends of the secondary conductor patterns being electrically connected to the pair of the secondary external electrodes, so that the primary and secondary conductor patterns have no coiled construction and no self-distributed capacity, so that the laminated transformer will no induce self-resonance even when used in a high frequency band.

  • Patent number: 4746557
Abstract: An LC composite component employing a ceramic sintered body obtained by laminating pluralities of magnetic green sheets and dielectric green sheets and cofiring the same. The ceramic sintered body is provided therein with a magnetic region and a dielectric region along the direction of thickness. The magnetic region of the sintered body is provided with at least one inner electrode layer which extends to first opposite side surfaces of the sintered body, thereby to define an inductance unit. The dielectric region is provided with a plurality of electrodes oppositely arranged through the dielectric substance, which plurality of electrodes includes first and second electrodes. A pair of first outer electrodes are formed on the first side surfaces of the sintered body, to be electrically connected with the inner electrode formed in the magnetic region.

  • Patent number: 4543553
Abstract: A present invention is a chip-type inductor comprising a laminated structure (28) of a plurality of magnetic layers (1 to 8) in which linear conductive patterns (9 to 21) extending between the respective magnetic layers are connected successively in a form similar to a coil so as to produce an inductance component. The conductive patterns (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 11 and 10) formed on the upper surfaces of the magnetic layers and the conductive patterns (9, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21) formed on the lower surfaces of the magnetic layers are connected with each other in the interfaces of the magnetic layers and are also connected each other via through-holes (22 to 27) formed in the magnetic layers, so that the conductive patterns are continuously connected in a form similar to a coil.

  • Patent number: 4533931
Abstract: A reduction reoxidation ceramic semiconductor having a central ceramic portion with a dielectric layer formed thereon by oxidation. The ohmic electrode is formed from a material (e.g. an aluminum-glass frit) that prevents formation of the dielectric layer under the ohmic electrode during reoxidation. The non-ohmic electrode is formed on the dielectric layer.
