Abstract: A drain cleaner composition comprising an inorganic peroxide has a high cleaning effect and is suitable for cleaning drainpipes, traps, filter pipes and the like. This composition does no harm to human bodies and it can be stored and used with safety, and it does not exert a corrosive action on metallic pipes and other metallic objects. The cleaning effect of this composition is enhanced when a heat-treated inorganic peroxide is used or when a surface active agent is used in combination with the inorganic peroxide.

Abstract: A aerosol composition essentially consists of a starting liquid containing water-alcohol base and an effective or pharmaceutically effective component, a propellant and as an emulsifier an adduct of 1 to 300 moles of ethylene oxide to caster oil, hydrogenated castor oil or lanolin.

Abstract: Odoriferous materials and objects containing mercaptans, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia are deodorized with a deodorizing composition consisting essentially of a glycine type amphoteric surface active agent, and an adduct of ethylene oxide to castor oil, hydrogenated castor oil or lanolin and at least one specific phosphate.

Abstract: Sodium percarbonate or sodium perborate of high specific volume is prepared by mixing sodium carbonate or sodium borate, or an aqueous solution thereof, with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, in the presence of an anionic surface active agent in an amount exceeding the critical concentration for micelle formation.

Abstract: A softening agent for woven fabrics consisting essentially of 3 to 20 weight % of a quaternary ammonium salt having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are a long chain alkyl group or long chain .beta.-hydroxyalkyl group, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are alkyl group, hydroxyalkyl group, benzyl group or a group --(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.n H, X is a halogen or a monoalkyl sulfuric acid group,0.2 to 5% of a polyoxyethyleneoleyl ether having an ethylene oxide average addition mole number of 8 to 200, 0.5 to 10% of urea, and 0.08 to 2% of a water-soluble ammonium salt.

Abstract: A liquid softening agent for a woven fabric contains1. a cationic polyamide compound (A) which is prepared by the steps of reacting 1 mol of diethylene triamine or dipropylene triamine with about 2 mols of a long chain fatty acid to thereby form a condensate of an acid value of not greater than 10; adding about 1 to 2 mols of epichlorohydrin to the condensate; subjecting the resulting adduct to the ring-opening polymerization in the presence of an alkali agent; and thereafter neutralizing the polymer thus formed with an acid;And2. a quaternary ammonium salt (B) expressed by the following general formula ##EQU1## wherein EACH OF R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is a long chain alkyl group or a long chain .beta.-hydroxyalkyl group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are an alkyl group or hydroxyalkyl group, a benzyl group or --(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.n H; and X is a halogen or a monoalkyl sulfuric acid group.

Abstract: A detergent composition comprising a detergent system including as a main active detergent component an anionic surface active agent or a non-ionic surface active agent or both of these surface active agents, and incorporated therein, 3 to 50% by weight of a 1-hydroxyalkane-sulfate having 12 to 22 carbon atoms based on the amount of the detergent composition.

Abstract: A detergent composition containing (a) from 0.001 to 1.0 percent by weight of at least one radical chain-inhibiting antioxidant selected from the group consisting of 4,4'-butylidene-bis(6-tert-butyl-3-methylphenol), 2,2'-butylidene-bis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol), monostyrenated cresol, distyrenated cresol, monostyrenated phenol, distyrenated phenol and 1,1'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)cyclohexane and (b) 0.5 to 50 percent by weight of an oxygen-type bleaching agent.
