  • Patent number: 9598806
Abstract: In an automated bobbin-exchanger device (3), a guide groove (6) which is provided on a vertical transfer base (5) has a horizontal portion (6a), a vertical portion (6c) and an arcuate portion (6b). A bobbin chuck (18) reciprocally moves pivotably along the guide groove (6) to make a travel distance minimum, thus enabling users to quickly exchange the bobbin case (12). By placing a bobbin holder (13a), a chuck-drive lever (14) and a chuck-drive air-cylinder (26) circumferentially, it is possible to make a whole structure compact and space-saving. The bobbin-exchanger device (3) requires only two bobbin cases (12) available to make their check and maintenance easy.

  • Publication number: 20040073501
Abstract: In processing for generating content management information, when a predetermined period has elapsed since a movie by use of a content was premiered, an itial information of the content is read. Subsequently, all pieces of utilization result information that have initial information which is on the same level as the initial information of the content are extracted from a database. Then, using the extracted utilization result information, an average value of utilization results for each of utilization modes is calculated, to generate content management information containing the calculation result. Based on the content management information, a content management agent predicts a result of utilizing the content in any other utilization modes in the future, to decide in which one of the utilization modes it is to be utilized. Therefore, it is possible to manage contents easily and effectively.

  • Publication number: 20040068738
Abstract: A request message is transmitted to a server (21) from program receiving sites (40) each having a video screen whose size is sufficient for viewing by public audience. The server replies with a blank application form containing a list of scheduled event programs and their scheduled date and time scales each indicating the program's opening and closing times of day. Each program receiving site fills in the application form and returns it to the server. In the server, event programs indicated in the received application form are mapped in a registration database to the requesting program receiving sites, and the database is constantly is monitored for each event program. From an event holding site (30) the server receives an event program when its scheduled opening time is detected and distributes it to the registered receiving sites until the scheduled closing time of the program is detected.

  • Patent number: 5911186
Abstract: In an under thread detection device for a sewing machine, a probe arm is located outside a rotary bobbin case, and is adapted to be accessible to a bobbin through a space provided at the rotary bobbin case when the rotary bobbin case ceases its rotary movement. An urging member provides an urging force in such a direction as to urge the probe arm toward a stem of the bobbin. A wire transmits the urging force of the urging member to the probe arm. A stroke detection device measures a stroke displacement of the wire. A detection control device calculates a residual amount of an under thread wound on the bobbin on the basis the stroke displacement measured by the stroke detection device. A display device exhibits the residual amount of the under thread wound on the bobbin on the basis of the calculation performed by the detection control device.
