Patent number: 8567593Abstract: This invention provides a belt profile and profiled belt that can be easily mounted to and detached from a toothed belt. Specifically, a profile body and a claw section are integrally formed via a connection section. A side edge section of the toothed belt is inserted between the profile body and the claw section from an inner side in the belt width direction. The profile body is arranged on a rear surface side of the toothed belt. The claw section is arranged at the side edge section, on the tooth surface side. The connection section passes outside the side surface of the toothed belt. The profile is mounted on the toothed belt by engaging the claw section with a belt tooth while the profile body and the claw section sandwich the side edge section. The profile is removed from the toothed belt by performing these procedures in reverse order.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2008Date of Patent: October 29, 2013Assignee: The Gates CorporationInventors: Haruhiko Nakamura, Ryuki Inoue

Patent number: 6334522Abstract: In a control apparatus for a passenger conveyor, passenger detecting devices provided on balustrades distinguish and monitor the absence/presence of a passenger within first zones on an entrance gate side and an exit gate side including floor boards of the entrance gate side and the exit gate side, and the absence/presence of a passenger within second zones on the entrance gate side and the exit gate side adjacent to and beyond the first zones, covering the first zones. When a passenger is detected in the second zone on the entrance gate side in a standby mode, a mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to an intermediate mode, and when a passenger is detected in the first zone on the entrance gate side in the intermediate mode, the mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to a conveying mode.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2000Date of Patent: January 1, 2002Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yasumasa Haruta, Yoshiki Sugiyama, Haruhiko Nakamura, Akio Iwata

Patent number: 5024314Abstract: An escalator system has a plurality of steps connected to form an endless loop having a load-bearing run and a return run and circulatingly driven along a circulating path defined on a main frame. A movable member mounted on at least one of the steps is movable to an elevated position on the level of a tread of the step in front of that particular step in the load-bearing run. An operating mechanism is connected to the movable member for elevating the movable member. The operating mechanism comprises first and second racks mounted on the main frame at end portions of the loop. A forward-rotation pinion is mounted on the step with the movable member or on the step next to the step for engagement with the first rack, and a reverse-rotation pinion is mounted on the step with the movable member or on the step next to the step for engagement with the second rack.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 1989Date of Patent: June 18, 1991Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Shigeharu Kitamura, Haruhiko Nakamura, Masaru Sanada

Patent number: 4713621Abstract: A phase synchronization circuit for controlling a graphic display device in a teletext receiving system. The phase synchronization circuit includes a delay circuit, adapted to delay in sequence clock signals which are to be phase-synchronized with a reference signal and to produce in sequence delayed clock signals, and a selection circuit, including set/reset circuits and gates, each gate receiving the output of the set/reset circuits and of the delayed clock signals. Among the delay clock signals, the signal that has the nearest edge timing to the edge of external signals is selected. The phase synchronization circuit has a short pull-in time and high-speed synchronization, is suitable for circuit integration, and offers improved reliability.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1985Date of Patent: December 15, 1987Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Haruhiko Nakamura, Junya Tempaku
