  • Publication number: 20160214445
Abstract: A management computer transmits to a vehicle a request of vehicle ID to identify the vehicle, when a tire ID of the vehicle is not registered in a registration portion. Upon receiving the request, a transmission pattern adjustment section of an ECU of tire pressure monitoring system of the vehicle controls a sensor unit of at least one tire to transmit electric waves in transmission pattern expressing the vehicle ID. The management computer permits the vehicle to use a facility when a vehicle ID specified from the received transmission pattern on electric waves is registered in a registration portion.

  • Publication number: 20160207363
Abstract: An ECU is used to a tire pressure monitoring system of a vehicle. The ECU includes a contact storage portion and a post-replacement ID reporting section. The contact storage portion stores previously a contact of a management computer of a facility that the vehicle uses. The post-replacement ID reporting section transmits a post-replacement tire ID of a tire, which is substituted in the tire replacement, to the contact in the contact storage portion via a communication network when the tire replacement is detected by a tire replacement detection section. The management computer includes a registration change section that registers the post-replacement tire ID in a registration portion upon receiving the post-replacement tire ID.

  • Patent number: 8064825
Abstract: A power-receiving-side control circuit of a power reception device performs intermittent load modulation by causing an NMOS transistor to be turned ON/OFF during normal power transmission. A power-transmission-side control circuit included in a power transmission control device of a power transmission device monitors, an intermittent change in the load of the power reception device during normal power transmission. The power-transmission-side control circuit determines that a foreign object has been inserted between a primary coil and a secondary coil and stops power transmission when an intermittent change in load cannot be detected. The amount of power supplied to the load may be compulsorily reduced when the load state of the load is heavy.

  • Patent number: 8054036
Abstract: A power transmission device performs power-saving power transmission that transmits a small amount of power as compared with normal power transmission when the power transmission device has detected that a battery of a load has been fully charged so that the operation of a charge control device (charge control IC) of the load is maintained, thereby enabling recharging due to a charge management function of the charge control device. Since the load state of a power reception device increases when recharging has started, the power transmission device detects an increase in the load state and changes power transmission from power-saving power transmission to normal power transmission. When the power reception device has been removed during power-saving power transmission, the power transmission device detects that the power reception device has been removed, and stops continuous power transmission so that unnecessary power consumption does not occur.

  • Patent number: 8026694
Abstract: A power-transmission-side control circuit causes a power transmission device to perform temporary power transmission when a switch provided in a power-transmission-side instrument has been turned ON, and performs ID authentication based on ID authentication information. The power-transmission-side control circuit detects the presence or absence of a foreign object during normal power transmission by monitoring a change in induced voltage in a primary coil, causes the power transmission device to stop temporary power transmission when the ID authentication information from the power reception device has not been received within a given period of time, causes the power transmission device to stop temporary power transmission when the ID authentication has failed, and causes the power transmission device to stop normal power transmission when removal, a metal foreign object, a takeover state, or a full-charge state has been detected after normal power transmission has started.
