  • Publication number: 20100330864
Abstract: In the manufacturing method of the plasma display panel, the protective layer of the front plate has a base film evaporated on a dielectric layer, and this base film is surface-treated, and an ink film formed of agglomerated particles agglomerating a plurality of crystal particles of metal oxide and an organic solvent is formed, and after vacuum drying, the organic solvent is removed from the ink film, and thereby the plurality of agglomerated particles are bonded and formed on the base film.

  • Publication number: 20100266750
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a plasma display panel including: a front plate on which a protective layer is formed on a dielectric layer, and a rear plate which is arranged to face the front plate so as to form a discharge space and on which a barrier rib for partitioning the discharge space is provided, wherein the protective layer of the front plate is formed by depositing an underlying film on the dielectric layer, coating a volatile solvent, in which aggregated particles obtained by aggregating a plurality of crystal particles including metal oxide are dispersed, on the underlying film, performing reduced-pressure drying, and attaching the aggregated particles to the underlying film.

  • Patent number: 7239086
Abstract: An AC type plasma display panel includes a plurality of pairs of display electrodes, a dielectric layer, a data electrode and a float electrode. A pair of the plurality of pairs of display electrodes are disposed parallel to each other on a front substrate and form a discharge gap for emitting light for display. The dielectric layer is formed on the front substrate and covers the plurality of pairs of display electrodes excluding at least a part of the discharge gap. The data electrode is disposed on a rear substrate, which is placed facing the front substrate across a discharge space, in a manner to cross under the display electrodes. The float electrode is disposed at the discharge gap on the front substrate.

  • Patent number: 6946091
Abstract: When drilling a multi layered sheet-like material, drilling is first made with pulses having energy that generates an inter-layer pull-off force smaller than the adhesion force between the layers. Then pulses with higher energy are radiated for trimming the shape of the holes, and thus through-holes having a desired shape are drilled without causing delamination of the layers.

  • Patent number: 6903507
Abstract: A high-definition plasma display panel and its manufacturing method. Luminance is increased by increasing surface area of a phosphor layer without reducing a discharge space of a discharge cell. For formation of the phosphor layer, an organic binder is made by dissolving, through heating, at least an organic solvent and a plurality of resins of different solubilities with respect to the organic solvent, and phosphor paste is made of this organic binder and phosphor particles. A recessed and projected part is formed of spaces formed by burning out gelled substances formed by the resin with low solubility in a phosphor film, thereby increasing the surface area of the phosphor layer. Consequently, increased luminance is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20040155584
Abstract: An AC type plasma display panel includes a plurality of pairs of display electrodes 12a and 12b, dielectric layer 15, a data electrode and float electrode 41. A pair of the plurality of pairs of display electrodes 12a and 12b are disposed parallel to each other on front substrate 10 and form a discharge gap for emitting light for display. Dielectric layer 15 is formed on front substrate 10 and covers the plurality of pairs of display electrodes 12a and 12b excluding at least a part of the discharge gap. The data electrode is disposed on a rear substrate, which is placed facing the front substrate across discharge space, in a manner to cross under the display electrodes. Float electrode 41 is disposed at the discharge gap on front substrate 10.
