  • Patent number: 11785203
Abstract: An information processing apparatus (30) includes: a specification unit (331) that specifies a viewpoint position of an observer of a display device (10) that reproduces rays of light that have been sent out by a three-dimensional object; a setting unit (332) that sets a region that makes it possible for the observer to stereoscopically view the three-dimensional object, by using, as a reference, the viewpoint position that has been specified by the specification unit (331); and a display control unit (333) that performs control to cause the display device (10) to emit a ray-of-light group that makes it possible to stereoscopically view the three-dimensional object from an inside of the region that has been set by the setting unit (332), and makes it impossible to stereoscopically view the three-dimensional object from an outside of the region.

  • Patent number: 11575862
Abstract: Correction performance is improved regarding a synthetic blur in which a plurality of blur characteristics is synthesized, for example, a focus blur that occurs in a superimposed projection image, or the like. An image processing device according to the present technology includes: a correction unit that obtains a plurality of blur-corrected images by performing blur correction processing on an input image regarding a focus blur that occurs in a projection image by an image projection device, by using a filter coefficient for blur correction corresponding to each of a plurality of blur characteristics, the filter each being obtained on the basis of the plurality of blur characteristics; and an image output unit that individually outputs the plurality of blur-corrected images obtained by the correction unit.

  • Patent number: 11431949
Abstract: The present technology relates to an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that allow an improvement in measurement accuracy by taking into account degradation occurring during projection and degradation occurring during imaging. An image processing apparatus according to an aspect of the present technology performs, on a test pattern image representing a predetermined test pattern, correction according to an imaging degradation model obtained by modeling degradation occurring during capturing of the test pattern image projected on a screen, and correction according to a projection degradation model obtained by modeling degradation occurring during projection of the test pattern image. The present technology can be applied to an image processing apparatus that controls projection by a projector.

  • Publication number: 20220164928
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that are capable of correcting and displaying a multi-viewpoint image so that the multi-viewpoint image can be appropriately viewed. On multi-viewpoint images to be projected, geometrical correction is performed, blurring correction is performed, and by using the viewpoint images subjected to the geometric correction and the blurring correction, crosstalk correction is performed on the basis of each diffusion distribution. The present disclosure can be applied to a display device of a multi-viewpoint image.

  • Publication number: 20200244937
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus and a method, and a program that enable determination of the position and the shape of a PSF in a projection plane. The small pattern is a pattern that has a total of 35 dots of lateral seven dots×longitudinal five dots all being arranged therein at intervals of each 14 pixels, and a line having a width of one pixel (an outer frame) surrounds the 35 dots. A test pattern having the plurality of small patterns arranged therein and to be projected onto the overall screen is projected from a projector. From an image obtained by imaging this state using a camera, a PSF (Point Spread Function) of the projector is determined. This disclosure is applicable to, for example, a projection imaging apparatus that projects an image using a projector, that images the image projected by the projector, and that calculates the PSF.
