The plurality of first images are arranged along a longitudinal direction of the sheet medium. When the calculated n is equal to or more than two, the controller performs a juxtaposed image recording process to control a print engine in such a manner that two or more and n or less images, among the plurality of first images or among a plurality of divisional images into which the single second image is divided, are recorded to be arranged side by side along the width direction.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a controller that performs one or more times a first image forming process including performing image formation on a sheet medium, and conveying the sheet medium in a conveyance direction by rotating a first roller by a first number of rotations and rotating a second roller disposed downstream of the first roller in the conveyance direction by a second number of rotations smaller than the first number of rotations. When a count of times the first image forming process has been performed becomes a particular number of times, the controller performs a second image forming process including performing image formation on the sheet medium, and conveying the sheet medium by rotating the first roller by a third number of rotations smaller than the first number of rotations and rotating the second roller by the second number of rotations.

When a cutting device is unusable, a long sheet-type medium accommodated in a first medium container is unusable. However, a conveyance passage used for conveying a short sheet-type medium is usable in at least one of a first state where the cutting device is unusable or a second state where the sheet-type medium is unable to pass through the cutting device. A necessary condition to make both the long sheet-type medium and the short sheet-type medium selectable includes the detector detecting neither the first status nor the second status. A necessary condition to make the long sheet-type medium unselectable and make the short sheet-type medium selectable includes the detector detecting one of the first status and the second status.
