  • Publication number: 20100233441
Abstract: A natural leather having a three-dimensional pattern formed on the surface thereof is provided. The three-dimensionally patterned natural leather permits a minute three-dimensional expression such as small dots and thin lines, is high in the degree of freedom of the three-dimensional pattern, can retain the three-dimensional pattern even with the lapse of time and retain the characteristics peculiar to the natural leather. The three-dimensional pattern is formed by a resin portion which covers by coating the surface of an undercoating layer of the natural leather partially in a pattern shape. The resin portion has a maximum thickness of 20 to 400 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20090074970
Abstract: The present invention provides a raised fabric having a three-dimensional pattern, of which an uneven pattern formed on the surface of the raised fabric shades when viewed from any direction, and which is suitable as an interior material that can enhance the appearance of the interior of cars and houses having a more three-dimensional design. That is, the present invention relates to a raised fabric having a three-dimensional pattern, of which the cross sectional areas in plurality of cross sections parallel to each other are different from each other.

  • Publication number: 20080029179
Abstract: A fabric for three-dimensional design preparation which can afford sharp and extremely fine line-like concaves of 1 mm or less in width or smooth curvilinear concaves is provided by a three-dimensional design preparing process using ink jet printing for example. The fabric is a pile fabric comprising a pile portion and a ground weave portion, wherein a single fiber size of pile yarn which constitutes the pile portion is 0.05 to 3.5 dtex, the pile is distributed uniformly at a proportion of 2% to 20% per unit area on the pile surface side, and in a vertical section of the pile fabric, the ratio of the area of the pile yarn relative to the sectional area of a 50% portion of an average entire pile height from the pile surface side is 40% to 60%.

  • Patent number: 6939583
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention is to provide fabric for use in ink-jet printing that can prevent not only “ink bleeding”, but also “white exposure”, “nonuniform coloration” and “back staining”. A further object of the present invention is the provision of fabric for use in ink-jet printing, consisting of two textures—napped and ground, which can be evenly ink-jet printed with no variation in color between both, while preventing the occurrence of “white exposure”, “nonuniform coloration” and “back staining”.

  • Patent number: 6471896
Abstract: To provide a method for processing a cloth to form a three-dimensional design pattern on the cloth not only by a conventional printing system, but also by an ink-jet system. A method for processing a cloth to form a three-dimensional design pattern on the cloth, which involves two processes—one in which it is treated with a Solution A containing a salt formed from a phenol derivative and a hydroxide of an alkali metal or alkali-earth metal and the other in which it is treated with Solution B containing a chemical capable of restoring the salt in solution A to its original phenol derivative. The present invention is advantageous in using highly safe water-soluble chemicals, allowing their uniform application to a cloth to form a three-dimensional design pattern on the cloth.
