Abstract: Operation information is transmitted from a portable telephone 1, a central processing unit 5 refers to a data base 6 in which a plurality of remote controller control instructions are stored, a remote controller control instruction corresponding to the operation information is sent back from the central processing unit 5, and an apparatus to be controlled is controlled by the portable telephone 1 according to the remote controller control instruction. Therefore, a plurality of apparatuses to be operated can be easily operated in remote control without arranging a private remote controller for each apparatus.
