  • Publication number: 20040129583
Abstract: To provide a watch with opening/closing lid, whose external appearance can be improved, in which clothes and the like are not caught by an end portion of a spring biasing the opening/closing lid, and in which a biasing function for the opening/closing lid by the spring can be maintained. A premise is a watch in which a front lid is attached to a case band of a timepiece armor main portion through a pivot axle so as to be openable/closable, and this front lid is biased in its closing direction by a spring. The front lid is provided with an axle fitting portion rotatably fitting to the pivot axle. A spring accommodating hole facing the axle fitting portion is provided in a position biased by a deviation dimension D from an axle center C of the pivot axle of the case band. A coil spring is used for the spring.

  • Publication number: 20040071049
Abstract: To provide a watch in which, in case where a screw lock function has decreased, a part exchange around a crown is made possible while ensuring a waterproofness. To an outside winding stem pipe having a bridge portion and brazed to a case band there is passed an inside winding stem pipe having a male screw portion directed to an outside of the case band and a convex portion colliding against the bridge portion so as to be capable of being put in or out, the pipe is locked to the pipe by a lock means provided over both of the winging stem pipes, and the pipe is interposed between an attaching ring detachably meshing with the pipe and the convex portion, thereby positioning the pipe with respect to the former pipe in an axial direction. A crown is detachably meshed with the male screw portion of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 6648502
Abstract: A wrist-wearable electronic apparatus has a case and a band connected to the case for attaching the electronic apparatus to a wearer's wrist. A flexible expansion chamber is provided on the wrist side of the case or the band, and a pump communicates with the interior of the expansion chamber for supplying air thereto to inflate the expansion chamber so that it can be maintained in close contact with the wearer's wrist. The pump has a pair of push-in portions on opposed lateral sides of the case or band adjacent the wrist side thereof so that the wearer can apply sideways directed forces to actuate the push-in portions to supply air to the expansion chamber. A discharge valve communicates with the interior of the expansion chamber for discharging air therefrom. The pump may be rotatably mounted to enable the wearer to position the push-in portions at desired positions to facilitate actuation thereof by the wearer.

  • Publication number: 20030147312
Abstract: To enable instantaneously making switchover of an operating part between a locked state and an unlocked state. An operating button is arranged to be capable of being rotatingly operated between a locked position and an unlocked position, and a stopper member is provided integral with the operating button. When the operating button is in the locked position, projections engage with grooves to restrict movement of the operating button toward a casing. When the operating button is rotated degrees to come to the unlocked position, the projections engage with grooves, which are greater in depth than the grooves, whereby the operating button can be operatively pushed toward the casing.

  • Publication number: 20030137903
Abstract: To form a timepiece body and a strap so that the timepiece body and strap can be connected to and disconnected from each other easily. A strap is connected to a case by moving a stepped pin, which is formed on a bow so as to be integral therewith, via a joint hole portion, and engaging the stepped pin with a smaller-diameter hole portion in a strap-connecting intermediate fastening plate formed on an clasp so as to be integral therewith. When a smaller-diameter portion passes through the joint hole portion, springs are bent, and the joint hole portion is expanded.

  • Patent number: 4964093
Abstract: In one form of the structure for preventing inadvertent opening of a cover lid of a water-proof watch, a protrusion formed on the cover lid is locked into a recess formed at a head of a lock button. A coil spring is attached to the lock button to bias the same to maintain the engagement between the recess of the lock button and the protrusion of the cover lid so as to prevent inaduertent opening or unlocking of the cover lid. In another form of the opening and closing mechanism of a cover lid, a rod member is provided with a water-tight sealing and a coil spring, and operates to apply a pressing force to a hinge portion of the cover lid to assist in closing of the cover lid, thereby realizing simplified water-tight structure of the opening and closing of the cover lid.
