  • Patent number: 5392014
Abstract: An input signal specified by an input frequency is divided by an out-of-phase type input hybrid coupler, into two divided signals with regard to the power of the input signal, where the divided signals have different phases. The input frequency of each of the divided signals is multiplied by a frequency multiplier connected with the input hybrid coupler, producing frequency multiplied signals each specified by the multiplied frequency. The frequency multiplied signals are composed by an out-of-phase type output hybrid coupler with regard to power, producing an output signal specified by the multiplied frequency. A phase shifter is provided between the input and the output hybrid coupler for varying the phase difference between the frequency multiplied signals, so that the frequency multiplied signals are composed in in-phase.

  • Patent number: 4532468
Abstract: A temperature-compensating voltage generator circuit for compensating the temperature characteristics of an electric device whose electrical characteristics vary in accordance with a change of the ambient temperature and can be changed or controlled by a control voltage. The temperature-compensating voltage generator circuit includes: a temperature-sensing device for generating an electric signal whose voltage level varies in accordance with a temperature change, and a discriminating device for discriminating the electric signal by using a predetermined reference voltage for generating output signals in accordance with the voltage level of the electric signal.

  • Patent number: 4509208
Abstract: A frequency conversion unit comprising a local oscillator, first and second mixers, first and second hybrid circuits. The mixers receive, via the first hybrid circuit, local oscillation outputs from the local oscillator, and the second hybrid circuit receives outputs from the first and second mixers, producing a frequency conversion output signal therefrom. Intermediate frequency signals used in the first and second mixers are .pi. radians out of phase with each other. The first hybrid circuit produces outputs for the first and second mixers having a predetermined phase difference of .phi..sub.1 therebetween. The second hybrid circuit receives outputs from the first and second mixers and combines them after making a phase difference of (.pi.-.phi..sub.1) therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4380096
Abstract: A hose clamp which has an expanding portion of increased width at predetermined parts of a clamping portion is so formed as to produce a constant stress caused by the bending moment of forces and the axial force acting on the position where the maximum stress is applied to the clamping portion. The hose clamp has a first gripping end portion and a pair of second gripping end portions to expand the diameter of the clamping portion. Plastic deformation is prevented at the time of expanding the diameter of the clamping portion of the hose clamp.
