  • Publication number: 20060172585
Abstract: A connector includes a plurality of terminals and a connector housing, receiving the terminals. Each of the terminals includes a terminal connecting portion, having a tubular shape, and receiving a mating terminal, a wire press-contacting portion including a press-contacting blade for press-contacting a wire, and the press-contacting blade having a blade width larger than a width of the terminal connecting portion, and an interconnecting portion, connecting the terminal connection portion and a wire press-contacting portion. A press-contacting direction in which the wire is press-contacted with the wire press-contacting portion is parallel to a terminal fitting direction of the terminal connecting portion. The terminal connecting portions of the terminals are received in the connector housing in parallel so that the press-contacting blades are arranged in a staggered manner. Also, a connector includes a housing and a terminal received in the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060005990
Abstract: The present invention is to provide an electric wire protective cap. The protective cap can be formed easily by a resin molding and prevents a seal material from leaking and improves waterproof. The protective cap includes a cap main body with a bottom, and a cover to be fitted to the cap main body and having a hole to insert electric wires. A joint portion of the electric wires is inserted into the cap main body and locked or fixed by the cover. The cover has a locking portion for the joint portion and a locking portion for the cap main body. The cover is an elastic packing material. An outer wall of the cover contacts firmly with an inner wall of the cap main body. The electric wires contact firmly with the hole of the cover. An abutting portion is disposed in the cap main body to prevent the cover from being pulled out. The cover is formed from a disk plate by making a cutout in the hole and overlapping end surfaces of the cutout.

  • Patent number: 5902149
Abstract: A movable connector is provided. The connector is inserted into a panel hole so as to engage stoppers of movable locking arms with the inner rim of the panel hole. Thus, the connector can be movably mounted to the panel by virtue of the elasticity of the movable locking arms. Fixed locking members each having a stopper head at the top of the pin are provided outside the movable locking arms, while locking member receiving holes are formed through the panel. When the connector moves toward one side within the panel hole and approaches or reaches the disengagement position, where the movable locking arm on the opposite side is disengaged from the panel hole, the bottom surface of the stopper head of the corresponding fixed locking member is engaged with the rim of the corresponding locking member receiving hole so as to re-lock the connector to the panel.
