  • Patent number: 8370980
Abstract: A drum type washing machine includes a rotating drum having a rotating axis in a substantially horizontal direction and sustained rotatably in a tub. The washing machine further includes a motor for driving the rotating drum, a water supply for supplying water into the tub, and a controller for washing, rinsing and liquid-extracting by controlling workings of the motor. The controller of the washing machine washes a laundry by pouring detergent bubbles in the washing process.

  • Patent number: 5947109
Abstract: A delivery warmer comprises a catalytic combustion heat generating device, a container accommodating cooked food, and a container casing accommodating the container. In the catalytic combustion heat generating device, a fuel tank stores liquefied fuel gas. A nozzle section gasifies and injects the liquefied fuel gas. A combustion section introduces gas mixture of the gasified fuel gas and air, and causes a catalytic reaction for burning the gas mixture. An igniter ignites the gas mixture and commences the catalytic reaction. Thus, heat generated from the catalytic combustion heat device is used to warm the container accommodated in the container casing. The cooked food is kept warm and tasty for a long time.

  • Patent number: 5403184
Abstract: An exothermic apparatus uses heat generated by the combustion of gas fuel or liquid fuel. The exothermic apparatus comprises a mixing section in which fuel gas and air are mixed with each other; and a casing disposed downstream of the mixing section and accommodating a combustion chamber. A fin provided in the combustion chamber is substantially parallel with the flow direction of mixed gas. A catalyst layer is in close contact with an inner surface of the combustion chamber and an outer surface of the fin. In this manner, fuel gas is efficiently brought in contact with the surface of the catalyst layer and the temperature of the catalyst is prevented from fluctuating even though heating quantity in an exothermic section changes. Thus, catalytic combustion can be reliably accomplished in the compact combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 4631024
Abstract: A catalytic combustion device of the type including a catalyst for oxidation of a fuel vapor and air, and an ignition heater for initiating oxidation on the catalyst is disclosed. The device comprises a tubular first member carrying thereon the catalyst for supplying the fuel vapor to the catalyst, and a tubular second member disposed in the first member defining therein a passageway for the fuel vapor, the second member being secured at its one end thereof to the first member so as to constitute a thermostatic element for controlling the rate of gas flow by means of the difference in thermal expansion between the first and second members.
